Equal opportunities are something we take for granted. After all, our boss is a woman. What is important to us is that it is precisely the cooperation between women and men that yields the best results. That is why gender diversity is an issue that affects us all. Through a variety of flexible working arrangements, we strive to meet our employees' need to balance their professional commitments with their personal interests.

We are actively addressing the challenges posed by demographic change. The expertise of our experienced staff is of great importance to us. We want to offer them prospects for the future and enable them to continue working in roles suited to their age. To this end, we are also exploring new avenues; for example, we are participating in a research project that examines life-stage-oriented skills management and the design of work processes within industrial service sectors.

With over 70 subsidiaries in more than 30 countries, TRUMPF is a globally active company. Different locations and diverse cultures make international teamwork an important key to success. We promote the exchange between locations and the development of intercultural skills among our employees.

Inclusion should become the norm at TRUMPF. It means diversity in the workforce and enriches the day-to-day work of all employees. To this end, we launched a campaign in 2015 and created additional positions for people with severe disabilities. We attach great importance to barrier-free workplaces and want to encourage people with disabilities to apply. We also have partnerships with centres for people with disabilities at many of our locations.
