Service engineer in field service: you get the best out of the machines

At TRUMPF, you will benefit from a wealth of international experience and discover many other cultures – after all, you will be looking after our customers' machines all over the world. Your team consists of service engineers in the office and in the field as well as colleagues from administration. You will also meet many other stakeholders inside and outside the company in your daily work.
TRUMPF machines are used all over the world. Our technical service takes care of all customer concerns relating to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and much more. As a service engineer, you will advise our customers as part of the office team via remote maintenance or take care of the machines directly on site. If you would like to become part of our Service Competence Center, you will be responsible for dealing with major technical faults.
As a newcomer, you will undergo a comprehensive training programme to familiarise yourself with our machinery. Initially, you will work alongside an experienced colleague within the team. Once you are ready, you will take on your own responsibilities. You can become a specialist in specific machines or support us as a multi-skilled employee. We offer a wide range of career opportunities: for example, if you start as a maintenance technician, you can gain a qualification as a service engineer whilst working.
